I have enrolled my daughter with homeClass for Olympiad. She will be appearing for Class 4 Olympiads in 2023.
The approach adopted by homeClass is very detailed and comprehensive. From Jan to March, they did revision of Class 3 basic concepts, which was very helpful even to brush up the school curriculum. From April onwards the preparations have started for Class 4 Olympaid.
The pros for me -
1. Flexible timing. I have opted for 8-9 pm batch, which allows my daughter to pursue her sports and also complete her school work.
2. Excellent quality of teachers.. All subject teachers are very good and experts of their subject matter. They make the class very interactive. Of course the child also has to put in effort
3. Mixed classrooms with children from different levels and schools. This helps the child to benchmark with their peers and also motivates the child to compete with their peers in the right spirit by working hard

Frequently asked questions:
When will the course start?
This is a full year course and you can start anytime. Contents are in blocks and batches. Starting from anywhere is fine. The syllabus is several notches above the school curriculum. Hence delaying admission in our Olympiad classes are not prudent if your child is aiming accolades.
What time will the class be?
We have almost all slots for classes available. Monday through Friday, your chosen slot, should remain at the same time and same batch. Once you book, you can get a suitable time slot.
What will be taught in the class?
Olympiad English, Science, Maths & Reasoning.
How many classes in a week ?
There will be 1 class every weekday Monday - Friday, thus making it 5 classes a week.
How much time will my child need to invest?
Live classes are just 1hr on every weekday.
What happens if we miss a class?
The classes are in groups and a recording is shared for 15 days post the class is conducted. Your child can watch it and update him/herself before attending the next class. But we recommend not missing classes other than the student's health reasons.
Is the fees paid annually or is it monthly?
You have the option to pay the Annual fee together or pay in 11 monthly instalments.
How much do I need to pay to start the course.
Under the monthly option you will have to start by paying 2 months fees in advance.
Can I get a Trial Class?
We generally do not do a trial. Our past records and performance of our students speaks for itself. You can get a flavour of how structured we are by taking the mandatory merit test.
What if my child doesn't like it?
As an institution we offer extremely good quality of learning.
However, as a parent you know your child well. If you think he or she is not interested primarily in education and does not enjoy learning, we request you not to take an admission. There is no refund under such conditions.
What if I want to withdraw in-between?
We give convenience to parents to pay monthly. However, that does not mean the commitment towards the course should be limited to month-on-month for a parent. If parents do not commit themselves for the full year term, then the teachers can not be committed wholeheartedly. A drop-out in-between will cause forfeiture of the last month fee paid.
We request you to treat this course as a parallel schooling and not an hourly tuition class. If you stay committed, we can guide the students better.
